3D imaging provides better quality and more detailed images than traditional x-rays. This new technology is also less invasive and emits less radiation than traditional x-ray machines. Cone Beam technology provides a digital tomographic 3D view of the patient’s area of interest. While a traditional x-ray is only two-dimensional, cone beam systems offer a full 360-degree view of the tooth and all surrounding areas.

In addition to being much more comfortable for the patient, using the scanner allows us to be more efficient and accurate, which can result in a reduced number of visits to the office, saving the patient time.

The use of lasers in dentistry has brought about many great advancements. The use of lasers allows for procedures that are less painful, reduce the amount of tissue loss, and provide a reduction in bleeding. This instrument is employed to accurately measure the length of the root canal, allowing the dentist to assess the file’s placement in relation to the root’s apex. This assists in ensuring the canal is thoroughly cleared of debris, thereby minimizing the likelihood of future issues.

Traditionally, teeth are polished using a rotating rubber cup and an abrasive paste. Prophy-jet polishing, however, uses an air polishing system with a combination of pressurized water and baking soda to remove more stubborn stains.

With an intraoral camera, you are able to better understand what is happening in your mouth and review the status of your oral health.

These monitors are found next to every patient chair. Patients can watch a movie or TV show. Patients can also view their dental radiographs when speaking to the doctor about the findings for a better understanding of their oral health.
