Meet Our Team

Toni Pizzi has been part of our dental family since January 1994. She has worked as a receptionist and expanded duties dental assistant. Then, in 2001, she stepped into her invaluable role as our office manager. Having over thirty years’ experience in these positions Toni’s knowledge in coordinating appointments, preparing treatment plans with the doctors, and assisting patients with insurance and financial arrangements is second to none! Toni takes pride in being an integral part of our team’s commitment to delivering top notch dental care. In her free time Toni loves being around her family and friends either at the beach or on the golf course.

Elsa Stack blessed us with her presence as the newest member of our team joining us in March 2024. As a scheduling coordinator, Elsa’s main priority is to welcome patients with her endearing and kind personality. Her background in insurance and her experience in working closely with patients has contributed greatly to the dynamic of our practice. Born in Staten Island New York, she has been a Jupiter resident since April 2014 and could not imagine living anywhere else.  In her spare time, Elsa enjoys spending time with her big Italian family, being outdoors, and exercising her faith. If you want a good laugh and a smile, Elsa is your go-to girl!

Danielle “Dani” Cervi rejoined our team after a 10-year hiatus as a stay-at-home mom. We are so happy to have her back as our patient coordinator. Dani has over twenty years of experience in the dental field, from working in dental labs to dental assisting. Dani is warm and bubbly, making each patient feel right at home in our practice. In her spare time, she loves being around her family and friends, she also has her black belt in shopping as you will never see her in the same outfit twice.

Carrie J. A Persad grew up in Palm Beach County. She started her dental career in 1996 as a dental receptionist.  Her passion for dentistry led her to further her career by attending Palm Beach State College, where she earned a dental assistant certificate in 2000. Later she continued her education and graduated with honors with a degree as a dental hygienist in 2004. She obtained her license to administer local anesthetics in 2013.

Carrie practiced hygiene with a well-known periodontist in the area for five years. Deciding she needed a change she joined our practice at the start of 2010. We are excited to have her as a member of our team as she is extremely dedicated to the field of dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Dental Hygiene Society and has also taught dental assisting at the community college. Carrie’s calming demeanor will make you feel comfortable from the start of your visit, and she will assuredly help you maintain a healthy smile.

Gina is a Certified Registered Dental Hygienist who joined us in 2018 when she relocated to Florida from Connecticut. She has over thirty-five years of experience in the dental field.  She began her career in dentistry as a Dental Assistant and then went on to receive both her Associate of Science in 1997 and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1998 from the University of New Haven. She also holds a permit to administer local anesthesia. Gina loves to get to know her patients and her caring and nurturing personality will undoubtedly make you feel comfortable at your next dental hygiene visit. She also loves spending time with her family and friends and enjoys the outdoors, especially the beach.

Kim migrated to South Florida from Pennsylvania in 1988. She started her dental career in 1990 and graduated from Palm Beach State in 1994 with her degree in dental hygiene and holds her permit to administer local anesthesia. After twenty years Kim has returned to our practice, and we are thrilled to have her back! Kim’s infectious positivity and enthusiasm makes her a great asset to our team! When she’s not at work Kim loves being with grandkids, dragon boating, and outrigger canoe racing.

Fatima Brecht, our dental assistant coordinator. Fatima began her dental career in 1986 as a dental lab technician. She has over thirty-five years of experience, and has been with our office since October 1994. Fatima, with her lighthearted personality, has the ability to make patients feel confident and comfortable with their dental experience. Fatima loves the atmosphere and challenges of dentistry which can be seen every day with each patient she sees. As a Jupiter native, Fatima loves being with her family doing anything outdoors.

Claudia Agudelo received her Registered Dental Assistant Certification from Lincoln College of Technology in 2013. She was born and raised in Colombia and became a citizen of the United States in 2010. With Claudia’s drive for excellence and her willingness to learn the latest technologies in dentistry, you can be assured that you are going to be in good hands at your next dental visit. Her dynamic and fun personality has brought great spirits to the office and is sure to be an added delight at your next appointment.

Alexandra “Alex” Smith, CDA born and raised in Lake Park Florida. In 2023, she went off to pursue a career in dental assisting. She received her certification from Florida Career College. She joined our team in January 2024 and has great enthusiasm for dentistry. Alex is dedicated to becoming the best assistant she can be as she loves taking on new challenges. We are excited to have her on our team. She has an outgoing and caring personality and is guaranteed to make you not only feel safe but comfortable at your next dental visit. When she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys going to gym or just relaxing with a good book.

Kathy L. Jeffries began her dental career in May 1998 here in our office after successful careers in nutrition, music, and the literary side of writing. She felt she needed a new challenge. A chance mutual acquaintance would be the first step in a pilot program created by Dr. Scherb for the in-office lab. From that point on, the program has become more than Dr. Scherb or Mrs. Jeffries had envisioned and continues to grow on a daily basis. Kathy’s official title is Dental Lab Coordinator and she also manages all the clinical supplies, retail supplies, and maintenance issues in the office, as well as develops assorted pilot programs for the office.
