Toni Pizzi, FAADOMOffice Manager
Toni Pizzi has been part of our dental office since January 1994. She has worked as the receptionist, an expanded duties dental assistant and is currently our office manager. Her experience in these positions assist her in coordinating appointments, preparing treatment plans with the doctor, and assisting patients with insurance and financial arrangements. Toni has helped us maintain a “family feel” not only through her dedication and versatility, but her genuine concern for all of our patients.
Fatima Brecht, CDAClinical Assistant
Fatima Brecht, CDA, is our dental assistant coordinator. Fatima began her dental career in 1986 as a dental lab technician. Her post-graduate training is extensive, including Palm Beach Community College. She has over sixteen years experience and has been with our office since October 1994. Fatima, with her calming disposition, has the ability to make patients feel confident and comfortable with their dental experience. With this said, Fatima loves the atmosphere and challenges of dentistry
Kathy L. JeffriesDental Lab Coordinator
Kathy L. Jeffries began her dental career in May 1998 here in our office after successful careers in nutrition, music, and the literary side of writing. She felt she needed a new challenge. A chance mutual acquaintance would be the first step in a pilot program created by Dr. Scherb for the in-office lab. From that point on, the program has become more than Dr. Scherb or Mrs. Jeffries had envisioned and continues to grow on a daily basis. Kathy’s official title is Dental Lab Coordinator and she also manages all the clinical supplies, retail supplies, and maintenance issues in the office, as well as develops assorted pilot programs for the office.
Carrie Persad, CDA, RDHDental Hygienist
Carrie Persad has lived in Palm Beach County for over 25 years. She started her dental career in 1996 as a dental receptionist. Later she continued her education and went on to chair side assisting. Her passion for dentistry lead her to earning her degree as a dental hygienist in 2004.
Carrie practiced hygiene with a well-known periodontist in the area for 5 years. Deciding she needed a change she joined our practice at the start of 2010. We are excited to have her as a member of our team as she is extremely dedicated to the field of dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Dental Hygiene Society and has also taught dental assisting at the community college. Carrie’s calming demeanor will make you feel comfortable from the start of your visit as she will assuredly help you maintain a healthy smile.
Claudia Agudelo, RDADental Assistant
Claudia Agudelo received her Registered Dental Assistant Certification from Lincoln College of Technology in 2013. She was born and raised in Colombia and became a citizen of the United States in 2010. With Claudia’s drive for excellence and her willingness to learn the latest technologies in dentistry, you can be assured that you are going to be in good hands at your next dental visit. Her dynamic and fun personality has brought great spirits to the office and is sure to be an added delight at your next appointment.
Molly DeddensScheduling Coordinator
Molly Deddens was born and raised right here in Jupiter Florida. We were very excited to welcome Molly to our team in 2018. She has been in the dental field since 2013, and has been a pleasant addition to our office. She will efficiently schedule your next appointment and answer any questions you may have when you contact the office. Molly’s quick wit and down to earth personality has brought a ray of sunshine to the office and she will make you feel welcome as you walk in for your next visit.
Gina Michaels, RDH, BSDental Hygienist
Gina Michaels joined us in 2018 and we couldn’t be more pleased to have her with us. She recently relocated to Florida from Connecticut. We were fortunate enough to have Gina referred to us through one of our patients. She is a Dental Hygienist with over 25 years’ experience in the dental field. She received both her Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Haven. She also holds a permit to administer local anesthesia. Gina’s caring and nurturing personality will undoubtedly make you feel comfortable at your next hygiene visit.
